Oil, Coolant And Solvent Decide The Chemistry

Hydraulic fluid, cutting coolant, diesel, brake cleaner and parts-wash solvent all end up on mining supply epoxy flooring, often in the same week. Standard coatings soften and stain under some of them.

Wash Bays Need Grip And Drainage Detail

Equipment wash bays are wet all day, and smooth epoxy flooring in one is a hazard. Aggregate goes into the top coat at a level set against how the bay is actually cleaned.

The detailing matters as much as the coating. The floor is carried properly into the drains rather than stopped short at an edge that will lift, and the junction at the wall is coved where water gets thrown.

We phase the work so the building keeps running. Bays are ground, coated and returned to service one at a time, and we work nights, weekends and planned shutdowns.
